Pro-Comp Class Rules, Membership & Race Rules

The class ProComp, in this edition, is a complete concept where we allow selected organizers to use in fully, during their races. The concept is created with the aim to attract drivers with fair rules, give the audience races without interruption and gives the organizer a lot of value. The class is independent from the other series and will choose their race opportunities that are reflecting the organizers' interests and requests from members.
1. Class Rules

The class uses SBFs Advanced ET regulations.

Allowed vehicle are of types: Dragster (D), FunnyCar (F) and Altered (A),
with motors: naturally aspirated (S), supercharged (P) alt. Whipple blower(W).
Nitromethan is allowed in rear engine dragsters and nostalgia FunnyCar (N).

Class minimum weight is 900kg.

The engines size limit is 542cui for all engine options.

Predetermined indexes are set for all different vehicle / engine options.

Personal indixes can be given for those cars that not fitting into any index classes.
2. Race Rules

Race distance for Pro Comp Cup is 660 feets.

A takeoff is predetermined by at last 60 minutes between rounds.

Start tree: Pro 0.4 delay.

Qualifiers are competing against each index

In the following rounds of qualifying, competitors are paired after qualifying position, in reverse position.

At least four qualified cars are required for an elimination.

Ladder shall be of the type: "Fair-ladder" which is a Pro-ladder with a "Run-off".

"Run-off" is a placement round, which ends with a complete ladder.

Third prize is determined in a race.

The elimination runs in the reverse order in which the "best qualified" always running last in the round.
3. Membership

A membership in the Pro-Comp Community is needed to compete in this class.

The association can decide to invite guest drivers.

The purpose of ProComp association is to promote race activities for cars of non door slammer type through tempting regulations that makes it possible to exciting racing.

Team spirit is very important as it creates a good foundation for the future. All members must see the great benefits of bringing the class and group forward and work towards it both as a group and as an individual.

If you agree with these rules, you are welcome to join ProComp Community. All members are expected to follow ProComps regulations and policies.

A charge of 500 sek, paid as evidence of understanding of these regulations. The charge is paid to the association’s selected person. Fill in the registration form on the member page carefully. Only drivers that has intentions to compete in the class during the current season are allowed to become members.

Any sponsorship incomes goes to the prizes.
4. Point Scoring

Qualifying points for 1st place is equal to number of competitors and then straight falling, with 1p to the qualifiers last participant.

Additional 2 points awarded for each fully completed qualifying run.

All qualified to ladder, whether it's directly through qualifiers or via the "run-off", gets a further 5p. These points accrues not to reserves.

Total elimination points are equal regardless of the number of competitors and the number of elimination rounds

Deduction of 2p to those that not compete at an elimination round

On race cancellation awarded the remaining points of elimination based on how many are left in the elimination.
